Dr. Leslie Wells

Dr. Leslie Wells grew up in Arlington, Texas and graduated from The University of Texas in 1993 with a bachelor's degree in Zoology. She received her medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio in 1997. She did her pediatric residency at Baylor College of Medicine. After completing her residency, Leslie had the honor of being chosen to stay an extra year as chief resident, when her duties included supervising the Ben Taub General Hospital pediatric ICU, teaching medical students and residents, and taking care of patients at Texas Children's Hospital. She then moved to Austin and joined Hill Country Pediatrics in 2001. Leslie is board certified in pediatrics and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She was recognized as an outstanding volunteer at Trinity Episcopal School, is a member of the UT Orange Jackets Alumni Association, and serves on the St. Stephen's Episcopal School Medical Advisory Committee. Leslie and husband Ben Wells are the proud parents of two sons, Ben '22 and John '26.
