Chelsea Richards

Palmer, Texas. I attended The Hockaday School, an independent school in Dallas. My alma mater is also in the SPC athletic conference, so it’s fun for me as a coach when we play at my former school. 

 

In my work with the Admission Office, I attend many admission events and interview students applying to the Middle School and Upper School. I am also assistant athletic director and field hockey program head. Previously I was Middle School athletic director and lived on campus as a dorm parent. 

 

Everyone is different here. There isn’t a mold for the perfect St. Stephen's student, and all of the opportunities on campus, in our community or abroad allow students (and faculty) to explore their passions. 

 

The week-long 8th-grade trips to Big Bend that I’ve been on have been great. It’s an amazing place to hike with mountains, desert and wildlife. I value the relationships that are strengthened by spending time with students off campus.  

 

Sports! I still love to play field hockey, soccer, floorball, kickball and softball! I spend vacations camping with my family or traveling.
