Christopher J. “Chris” Oddo is co-owner and a managing partner of Barron, Adler, Clough and Oddo, LLP. Previously, Chris served as Assistant Attorney General for the State of Texas and as an Equity Partner and member of the management team of McGinnis, Lochridge & Kilgore, LLP. He is a former Director for the State Bar of Texas, and he previously served as President of the Austin Bar Association. Chris also helped found the Capital Area Private Defender Service, a non-profit dedicated to providing the highest quality of representation for indigent defendants facing criminal charges. Chris is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates, the Lochridge Inn of Court, and has served on the Advisory Council for Volunteer Legal Services. Chris devotes time, energy and resources to various charitable causes, including Breakthrough Central Texas. He has served on the board of both the Thinkery and the Friends of the Sterling C. Evans Library at Texas A&M University. Chris is a current member of the Knights of the Symphony and the Austin Assembly, and he is a 2007 Leadership Austin graduate. He earned a Bachelor of Science from Texas A&M University and a Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Tulsa College of Law. Chris and wife, Karey Nalle Oddo '90, are parents to Harrison '24 and Katie '25.
