Kathy Rainey
Kathy Rainey graduated from TCU with an undergraduate degree in Movement Science in 1995 and UT with a graduate degree in Health Education in 2009. She has practiced as an athletic trainer for over 25 years in clinical, university, public and private school settings. More than half of her career has been spent at St. Stephen's where she has overseen the design of the Sports Medicine Athletic Training Facility; developed a comprehensive concussion management protocol; delivered education programming on nutrition, body image, disordered eating, hydration, and concussions; co-coordinated the annual Girls and Women in Sport Day, taught health classes, served as a mentor to female coaches, and ensured that all athletic injuries are treated professionally.
