• Callie Cho ’19

  Elected to be the student commencement speaker at Swarthmore College, Callie’s undergraduate Neuroscience major and English minor led her to the Center for Cetacean Research and Conservation, where she conducts research and serves as the primary writer of creative and educational blog posts.

• Ben McCord ’19

  After serving for four years as the Propulsion Mentor, Team Lead and Regen Cooling RE for the Texas Rocket Engineering Lab at the University of Texas at Austin, Ben accepted an offer to join the Raptor Flight Operations team at SpaceX.

• Coby Carrozza ’20

  A swimmer at the University of Texas at Austin, Coby holds the NCAA, American and U.S. Open records in the 800 free relay, as well as a gold medal from the 2022 world championships in the same event.

• Ava McDonald ’20

  Ava founded Zfluence, an influencer marketing firm, as a junior at St. Stephen’s, and recently sold the company to Her Campus Media, the top media portfolio for Gen Z and college women. Ava has been featured in Forbes, Wired and The Hill and is a Washington Business Journal “25 Under 25” honoree.

• Roman Rhone ’20

  Roman, an undergraduate Business Administration and Management major at the University of Michigan, founded his university’s chapter of BlackGen Capital, a 100% minority-owned, student-run investment fund that works to close the access gap in the financial services industry.

• Jason Han ’21

  Jason, an undergraduate member of the Positive Technology Lab at Rice University, earned sixth place in the international “2023 Quantum Computing for Drug Discovery Challenge” for his lab’s work concerning the hydroxyl cation, which has the potential to serve as a central axis for a variety of drug interactions.

• Katie Cline ’21

  A student-athlete at Pomona College majoring in Public Policy Analysis with a concentration in Environmental Analysis, Katie established the Claremont Colleges’ chapter of BridgeUSA, a student-run organization that seeks to address political polarization on campus and emphasize the importance of empathic conversations, ideological diversity and solution-oriented politics.

  As a recent graduate from The Hill, Sonal has already become involved in her new community at Georgetown University as a science writer for the Hoya, the site coordinator for a K-12 tutoring program, a marketing team member of Hoyas for Human Rights and the executive director of communications for No Lost Generation Georgetown.
