St. Stephen’s recently expanded our team of full-time professionals dedicated to nurturing the physical, psychological and social wellness of our students, as well as meeting their individual learning needs.
Gretchen McCracken Inman, an advanced practice registered nurse, serves as co-director of health services, overseeing the school’s Health Center. She leads a team comprising a school physician, four full-time registered nurses and two part-time registered nurses. This team of compassionate health care professionals is dedicated to providing preventive health services, as well as responsive medical care for ill and injured students.
John Dugan leads a team of licensed counselors (two in the Upper School, one in the Middle School). These experienced professionals are dedicated to addressing students’ psychological health concerns and conditions, as well as promoting effective life and learning strategies.
Terry Chapman serves as the Middle School Learning Specialist, and Kristina Green is the Upper School Learning Specialist. They work with students one-on-one and in small groups to help them develop general study skills while addressing their individual learning needs and more specialized academic accommodations.
