Spartans Perform with TMEA All-Region Orchestras

St. Stephen’s is pleased to recognize the seven Spartan musicians who performed with the 2021–22 Texas Music Educators Association (TMEA) All-Region Orchestras in late November.

The students who had auditioned for and won seats on the TMEA All-Region Orchestras in early October were invited to participate in a special three-day workshop led by a guest conductor in late November. The program culminated with concerts performed by the middle school and high school All-Region Orchestra winners.

Participating musicians included the following Spartans:

Upper School

Gabby Hoo (12th grade, violin)

Natalie Kim (12th grade, cello)

Meghan Chia (10th grade, violin)

Natalie Kwon (10th grade, viola)

Kevin Li (9th grade, cello)

Middle School

Sam Shea (7th grade, violin)

Sophia Holland (6th grade, violin)
