Millions of people can now enjoy 13 TEDx Talks recorded during the TEDxSSTX Youth event at St. Stephen’s.
“These recordings capture the incredible talks and moments from the event, and we are thrilled to share them with the world,” said Jenevieve Tsai, the TEDxSSTX Youth student-organizer.
The 100% student organized event called “Forward” centered around the idea of Progression, Innovation and Empowerment, and embodied the school’s commitment to embracing change, driving positive impact and striving to push beyond the apparent. The full day experience included Talks from Grammy-nominated alumni Colin Hancock ’15, Austin community activist Chas Moore, scientist Lauren Ehrlich ’93, P ’26, ’22, student podcaster Charlie Hubbard ’25, business expert Gigi Bryant and others who are forging ahead in the fields of technology, arts, engineering, astronomy, sustainability, architecture, business and scientific research.
The TEDx Talks are now added to the TEDx library. Student organizers not only recorded the inspirational and thought-provoking talks, but they also devoted hours to editing the footage and submitting to TEDx for their approval.
“I’m proud to let you know that none of our videos were withdrawn or returned for re-editing—an accomplishment that reflects the hard work and dedication of everyone involved,” said Tsai.
