E.P.I.C. Teammates of the Week: Holt Hunter and Collins Navarre

Each week Middle School Athletics recognizes Spartans who represent the four pillars of the Middle School Athletic Creed: Excellence, Pride, Integrity, and Commitment - E.P.I.C. Teammates. Congratulations to this week's honorees, Holt Hunter ’30 and Collins Navarre ’30!

 

Holt Hunter plays on the undefeated Purple Basketball team and is a leader among his peers. Hunter handles the point guard duties, distributing the ball with relative ease as he sees the floor really well. He sacrifices for his team on defense and is willing to take the contact when it comes to keeping the other team out of the paint. According to his coaches, "Holt is a hard worker, a good listener, and is great at implementing the game plan. It's hard to take him off the court because he does so much to make his team the best it can be!" 

 

Collins Navarre plays on the sixth grade Girls Red Basketball team. She, too, takes on the role of point guard for her team. Navarre is a hard worker, skilled player, and a dedicated member of the team. No matter the score, Navarre gives her best effort and never stops battling regardless of the score or how much time is left in the game. "Collins is a great teammate and an even better team player!” said Coach Chelsea Williams. “She never complains, always gives 100% and demonstrates a positive attitude EVERY DAY in both practices and in games!"

 

Both Holt and Collins represent what it means to be EPIC Teammates!
