Spartan Athletes of the Week: Graham Boles and Nevita McCormick

Congratulations to St. Stephen’s Varsity Track and Field athletes Graham Boles ’25 and Nevita McCormick ’25 for earning Spartan Athlete of the Week honors!

 

Graham Boles, a Spartan junior and middle-distance team veteran, scored 28 points toward the boys' fourth place finish at the Southwest Preparatory Championship meet. Over the course of two days, Boles placed second in the 3200-meter, 1600-meter and 800-meter runs, and also placed second in the 4x800-meter relay. 

 

Nevita McCormick tied the school record at 5-0 and finished first place in the 3A girls’ high jump competition. Less than five minutes after winning the high jump, McCormick led the Spartan girls' 4x800-meter relay to a fourth place finish. She also ran a season-best in the open 800-meter race, finishing in a time of 2:37.70.
