Spartan Athletes of the Week: Brady Lason & Kennedy Lartigue

Brady Lason ‘25 had a standout performance in the Spartan’s matchup against John Cooper School (Houston, TX)  last Saturday. Lason dominated the paint and recorded a double-double, tallying 19 points and 18 rebounds.

“Lason’s relentless effort on the boards set the tone early in the game,” commented Varsity Head Coach Christian Spencer. “He gave the guys crucial second-chance opportunities and established a strong defensive presence on the court.”

With Lason leading the way, the Spartans won 59-45 and look poised to carry this momentum into their upcoming Southwest Preparatory Conference games.

Kennedy Lartigue ‘27 has been on fire lately, stepping up her game in a big way for the Varsity Girls Basketball team. In the Spartans' last contest against Hyde Park (Austin, TX), Lartigue posted an impressive 13 points, 6 rebounds, 8 deflections, and 2 steals. Kennedy also led the team in the victory over John Cooper, recording 17 points, 5 rebounds, 6 deflections, 3 steals, and an assist.
